Mountain Elfs!

Drawing inspiration from "Lilo and Stitch" and Final Fantasy, I created the devilish "Mountain Elfs". When I had originally began working on this project, my intentions were to make the Legend of Weyland into a sort of video game. With these guys I designed them in a few varying shapes and poses, as well as designing a larger "Big Bad Boss" for them. Perhaps I will touch up on some of these guys and bring them to a complete finish in the future.

Minions of the evil King

Here is another piece of my BFA final project
These are the basic sort of minions every evil Lord should have, horsemen, basic grunts, sorcerers, stealthy archers, gladiators, and giant slobberknockers!

Shadow Shade the Shadow-mancer of Shadowfellhafenheim

Yeah, so I was doodling this afternoon, and I came up with this guy. He is awesome because he likes "Mint chocolate chip" ice cream, and that kind of ice cream is the best.

Simon Belmont vs Bat (progress)

It's starting to come along, but still needs work.

Simon Belmont vs First Boss Bat thingy (WIP)

I have been working on this piece for a while now, and am still trying to figure out how I want to compose my elements. I guess the next problem is figuring out what all of my elements are, I need to throw a candle or torch in there somewhere.
I am liking how the characters are looking though, they are coming along sweetly.

Forest Sprite

Forest sprites are pretty mischievous,  probably because they behave like kids and posses magical powers. I wouldn't trust them anyways.

PleinAir Studies: Volume 1

Today I did a lot of plein air painting. I worked in watercolor. What I am trying to do is get composition, value, and color design out of this (all of which are a bit unsuccessful in each of them, oh well)

Art of Pwned

Here are some of the better concept pieces I did for the student film. Most of the props were done in collaboration with other students. So many in fact, it would be hard for me to actually name them all (I am all about taking it easy). And, as you can see, I mostly worked on the couch.
The environment itself was fun to do. Having the layout planned, as well as having the props already designed made it a relatively easy task compared to pulling the whole piece out of thin air.

A Link to the Past

Nifelheimer

I worked a bit on this, there are some areas  (cough cough the back) that i probably should have pushed further, but I feel it came out pretty awesomely.

Bodvild

Bodvild is the daughter of the evil King Nidud. After the entrapment of Weyland, Bodvild received the ring of his former beloved, Hervor. In some versions of the story, Bodvild falls in love with Weyland and bears his child, after she visits him to have her new ring re sized.
